Intensive Language Arts

from my personal philosophy of education:

Education is a process...The process of learning through activity and experience should continue throughout the school years and beyond...The acquisition of knowledge is not enough to be considered educated. Academic achievement, vocational training, or career experience is only a portion of a person’s education. There has to be an understanding of how a person fits into his culture, a sense of history and belonging to the group, a feeling of making a productive contribution to the society, an appreciation for the talents of others, some insight as to what lies in the future, and knowing how to cope with change. Education is giving our youth a chance to learn how to make observations and connections, how to solve problems, and how their choices affect not just themselves but the rest of us in the present and in the future.
