GO Bulls!

My classroom is an environment where everyone is a student and a teacher. Teaching is not something I chose, rather it chose me. Every teacher has a story of why he/she became a teacher and mine is simple- I have a heart for kids and I know this is exactly what I was meant to do. I have a love for the written and spoken word, and throughly enjoy sharing it with my classes. I have the incredible opportunity to impact my student's future in and out of the classroom, and I remind myself every day how powerful my words are. I understand that I can make or break a student's day just by what I say or do, and how crucial my relationships with them are in order for them to want to work hard in my class and be successful. I am excited to teach your child and instill a love of literature and writing that they may not even know they had or wanted.
